But wasn't that when he thought he was going to be partners with Floyd? Floyd pretty much pulled the rug out from under him. Not that I am defending the record you posted, which is pretty miserable.

he came into the boxing world as if it were the rap world...trying to start beef with everyone..hahahahah what an idiot...of course he's a fine business man, just look at him....but there is a reason why you can count successful promoters with one hand....it's HARD !!!! and Curtis didn't do himself a favor by burning every bridge possible, while only having like 3 fighters signed at the time....worst move ever

But I heard the shows he does put on were actually quiet good as spectacles? Is this true or was it hype?

I think people have a lot of confusion between being an investor and business.
    There is a huge difference.

Gamboa's career is now on the shitter ever since he entrusted his career to 10c, 20c, 30c or whatever his name is...

Promoting is not his thing, he is more of what happens when an average guy with limited money comes into boxing

Kanye West or Jay-Z will do much better if they come into boxing, as they are proven productively manipulative enough to promote boxing

    You forgot about Luis Olivares.

    He's had 7 fights with 50. 5 of which were KO's.

No he's not. He's just a good spokesperson. He recently lost a lawsuit with an audio company that he used to prototype headphones. He took their designs and ran with them to make SMS Audio.
What a great business man, guys.

It was obviously to become a massive failure when Mayweather split from the team.

I remember being intrigued by the possibility of Gamboa, Dib, Dirrell, Judah, and the other couple quality contenders who started saying they had signed with them all in a week span on Floyd's PPV undercards.

I thought it was going to be interesting with a good chance at success right out of the gates. I was wrong.

50 has been utter trash as a promoter. Bad news...
