In his early fights he beat journeymen Paul Bonson and Hastings Rasani (who give prime World title challenger Sosnowski his second toughest fight)on points, before winning the Prizefighter series in April 2010 beating Leon Williams, Mark Krence and Nick Okoth. 2012 then saw Dickinson smash undefeated Matty Askin to pieces beating him by UD which then earned the big man a shot at Enzo 'Big Mac' conqueror Shane McPhilbin. The judges' scorecards gave a fair reflection, rewarding Dickinson for his higher workrate throughout (118-110, 118-110, 117-111).

Now with having conquered all of Britain and making Dickinson probably the best CW in the World it's time to move onwards and upwards to the HW division where a battle with the long past it Russian Klitschko brothers looms.

Some say Jon Lewis Dickinson doesn't really have a style. He relies on his incredible God given height, speed and quickness and never really learned how to box in the conventional sense. For most of Dickinson's career, he was operating at such a high dexterity level, it appeared to him that other fighters were moving in slow motion. Dickinson has speed and quickness like no one before him, he is an amazing physical phenomena.
