Is that fair for a voluntary split for Fury to defend his WBC title?

So if there's 200m in the pot, should Fury earn 160m and Joshua 40m?

Don’t think so. Despite his two losses in a row, Joshua is still quite the box office draw. At one point he was among the biggest draws of the sport.

Fury wouldn't have that, he's a man of very strong beliefs and values that don't shift depending on circumstance. He's a firm believer in 50/50 'Two fighting men'. That's the only way this fight takes place, just check what Fury said when Joshua held the belts and he had none.

Id fight a Gorilla for an 80-20 split of probably a 150 mil fight. Then id use my money to repair my broken body.

Indeed, a then titleless Fury turned down a 40% split offered by Matchroom to which Warren called "derisory". Then soon after accepted the same split yo fight Wilder.

Agreed, Fury should get a slightly bigger split as the undefeated reigning champion

80-20 is too harsh on AJ, he’s not on the level of Dillian Whyte just yet

If the fury fans really believe he is the a side.... Split the ppv buys into two categories. One number or order for fury the other for AJ, each fighter gets a split of their own sides ppv buys. Wish they would do that with all fights. Then the person drawing in the crowd and buys gets rewarded accordingly.

Why would Whyte as WBC mandatory get a 80-20 split and then AJ not even ranked by the WBC get a better percentage offered than that in a voluntary defense?

Fury took 20 percent to fight Vladimir
Usyk took 20 percent to fight Joshua

Why wouldn't AJ take 20 percent to fight Fury?

Whyte got stiffed and lacked the leverage to turn things round. It wasn't fair, but boxing, like life rarely is.

Joshua has plenty of leverage and lucrative alternatives and therefore the fight won't take place unless his team are happy with the split.

It wasn’t as simple as that as you well know and as has been pointed out to you many times.

That deal included fights against Bellew, Whyte and whoever else Matchroom could dig up.

It committed Fury to that schedule of fights, by going his own way he made more money and still fought the second best fighter out of the 4 they offered.

Fury turned down 40% split when he didn't have the title to fight AJ. Gurybthen ended up accepting 40% split against Wilders.

WBC make the rules as they go along according to their own rules Whute should of got 40% but they changed own rules and removed this just do over Whyte.

    Whyte was not stiffed
    he received an incredible purse
for a boxer coming off 1-1 with an ancient Povetkin
    incredible pay
