    I didn't say it was admirable or pretty, I said it was practical when in the arena and trying to survive sword wounds to carry some timber.

    Yes and no, fat is mostly concentrated on the abs, there's barely any of it on the rib cage. So if you fight a fat man, aim for the ribs.
