    Ali , Robinson , Mayweather , Jones Jr , M Taylor , Leonard , Pep , Camacho , Whitaker , Patterson , Davis Jr , Dela Hoya , Norris , Manny Pac
All these guys didnt really do weights.

I know theres exceptions like Tyson and Mosley but when you look back in history I think the Slickest , Most loose , Agile and Fast Fighters didnt do weights.

A well developed muscle will always perform better than than an under developed muscle, it is how you train them that makes the difference. You really think doing 500 pushups or 100 pull ups in a workout isn't weight training? It's exactly what it is. In boxing weight training is particularily important for the legs, as thats is where power is generated.

Even back in the day i don't rmember lifting weights as being a huge thing in boxing. Probably because lifting weights has the tendency to make arms stiff. You need to be flexible & limber when fighting.

Tyson didn't do weights early in his career (when he was at his best).

So you say, that Tyson at 5.11,5 became 220 (ripped) without lifting any weights ...

Bute does weights and that guy is pretty slick

with my near non-existant knowledge of weightlifting, I can confidently tell you with 100% certainty that lifting heavy weights increases muscle mass without directly improving speed and therefore the speed/mass index is not as efficient.
