Chisora lost his '0' and then got Euro and World shots, and seems chilled in his attitude as a result. However for Fury and Price the stakes are different because of the '0'. Presumably Price wins his eliminator the next step the stakes get higher. Will the British or Commonwealth become vacant? Fury could drop 1 belt and leave that for Price. There maybe a vacant Euro belt as Helenius will not go near another Brit. Povetkin is a higher reward. The fight I most want see however is Fury v Price for the British belt.
For me Fury doesn't duck challenge's i mean for all the flack he gets he fights hard every fight against dangerous opponents that most lads his age wouldn't go near!. I think the fight if mandated would be made, For Fury if he was to lose he could come back due to age and fact he can improve but maybe needs a kick up arse to do it. Price is at a age where a loss really does set him back.
Price would be best served taking Fury asap. Quit ****ing around on the Maloney HW tour, just demand the fight. If Frank won't deliver (or Fury ducks, unlikely) then **** off to America or Germany - plenty of work for HW's out there. He just doesn't fight enough, the McDermott fight should have been made a year ago. He and Fury turned pro at pretty much the same time, Fury has racked up several good wins, including one over the real European champion (BS decision aside) and fought plenty of different styles too. Unfortunately Price has had it all his own way, some of the guys he was facing a year or more ago would struggle in a pub car park, never mind a professional boxing ring. Absolutely useless. Shame too, after being put in with a decent opponent on debut under The Dark Lord.
If as expected Price gets by McDermott then this fight has to be made anyway. Sounds like Maloney wants it. Little Frank should make a deal with Mick to put this on Channel 5. Would be great.
I dunno with Price, seems to always get injuries that set back things when he's getting going. I really need to see him tested before making judgement but he's improved in last two displays but i never read much into them fights.
