Well you'd suspend the mandatory while Haye was the world champ.

If by some stage he lost, you'd impose a mandatory which he'd either have to face or vacate the title.

Obviously this would probably only be practicable in a one world title scenario..... given that fighters can be knocked out twice running and get a world title fight next up you could say it's futile.

Either way, we need to ensure that the best British fighters are holding the British title where possible.... otherwise there's little point in it existing unfortunately.

Hopefully after Groves has beat up some bum on the Mayweather - Mosley card he can either have a crack at Smith for the British title or have a shot at it anyway if Smith vacates.

Warren will avoid Groves at all costs unless there is silly money involved.

He is getting a title shot after 1 proper lightweight win over Prescott (who I think was coming off of a loss). Frank is probably trying to work his magic to ensure JMM gives up the belt and Mitchell vs Katsidis is for the full title. Mitchell might have to end up fighting the tough fight.

I remember when Frank tried to get Ricky Pinto for the WBO and the Harris for the WBA. After those fell through Frank was forced to get Ricky Tszyu because Ricky was getting very angry.

DeGale's fight for the WBA already stinks of agenda. It's a bogus title fight. Frank might manouever him down the trinkets route, maybe a quick fight for an belt like C'Wealth or Euro depending on which belt is owned by a **** beatable fight. He did the same thing with Khan.

If Frank wants to step him up then put him in a 10 rounder against Paul David for the English title. Oh hold on, that would put him in line to fight Smith or Groves. Best leave that out then.

The WBA International Title is a trinket used to make fights 12 rounds.
