Is a move to 55 inevitable for Aldo , and can he dominate that division too ???

I wanna know what guys outside the WEC are on the level of a Gamburyan, Faber or Brown ?

 

Fernandes and Sandro would be the two obvious choices.

 

Ill give you Fernandes for his well documented Jiujitsu history and his current run beating quality fighters like Hansen, Imanari, Warren and Takaya. Sandro however no I cant rank someone that highly when they have exactly 1 really good victory (Kanehara) and little else besides that. Put Brown and Faber together these guys have been beating top level Featherweights for years Curran, Pulver, Assuncao, Garcia, Yves, Faber, Fernandes, Valencia, Cruz, Menjivar, Escovedo, Hominick and probably others I cant think of. So you still havent gave the names of who are the majority of the best Featherweights that fight outside the WEC. Just because that dont have all the losses example Sandro doesnt mean they are as good its as simple as he hasnt fought but 2-3 good fighters.

 

Maybe saying the majority of top featherweights wasn't what I meant, exactly. I mean to say there are a lot of good, worthy featherweights outside of WEC.

There is a lot of competition for Aldo. Just because we say that he can beat them all hypothetically doesn't mean he shouldn't fight them.

Plus, not many guys are going to compare to Brown and Faber combined. They are the top of the heap.

 

You can add Omigawa and Hioki to that list as well.
