the question im asking is which of these two fights will be the best?i think a shot RJJ is still a higher quality than Mallanaigi.

I know the fights are at diffrent weights, and fighters are at diffrent parts of there careers etc

Im not taking anything away from Hatton,he is trying to fight who is available..but i think even a RJJ who has has his best days still is a better prospect

Both fighters should dominate and beat the opposition they face.

Malignaggi is a very tough opponent for Hatton, and is good enough to beat him. It's a proper match up and nobody can complain about the quality of opponent.

RJJ fighting Calzaghe is the matchup that lost Joe a lot of respect in my opinion. I'll let him off Hopkins, as he is clearly still competitive, but RJJ?

It doesn't matter what he used to be, a shot RJJ lacks a lot less credibility than Malignagii.

I have more confidence in predicting a Hatton win than I do predicting a Calzaghe win. I think Calzaghe will win but you never know with RJJ, for probably the first time in his career JC will up against someone with faster hands than him, it'll be interesting how this affects him.

RJJ is a legend, Malignaggi will never even get close to carrying the jockstrap of a legend.

Even now RJJ brings more to the ring than Maligfaggot does.

I can imagine it. If that does happen, then Joe's place in history will be in serious doubt. All his good wins will be put in a different perspective and the only place for him to hide would be the gym in your garden.

When a fighter is in it purely for the money and that ambiton isn't there any more, that's when shot fighters suddenly regain long lost form.

I'm not saying RJJ has much of a chance, because he doesn't, but Joe could end up wishing he had fought Pavlik instead.

RJJ has a better chance of beating JC than Bhops had. It is going to be very funny seing Bhops lose to another white boy in a few weeks.

I think Pavlik could get the KO.

    This is the key point

    Joe has no ambition anymore

He dosent want to take a real fight

He is hoping for a comfortbale fight against a over the hill guy

Calzaghe should not be in a boxing ring now

Going through the motions just to have a big cheque at the end of it

I do indeed, I think he will give Hatton all sorts of trouble before getting bashed up. RJJ is harder to predict. From his peak to where he is now is a vast chasm, and we have no idea what he can dredge up from the past.

RJJ will be ready for this fight, at his peak he would have boxed JC's ears off.
