We're talking about the current crop of light middleweights, for example canelo. I think wright would shutout canelo, maybe even stop him late.

I don't think there is an active boxer who could walk into a 154 pound match up and emerge victorious with winky

Perhaps Maravilla if he can still make 154 comfortably and be effective (which I believe he can but won't admit to).

Pavlik's best win is Taylor after getting dropped by him in the process. Winky had a highly disputed draw against taylor and did not get caught with the same shots that pavlik did. Pavlik also lost every single round to Bhop while winky had a far more competitive fight with Bhop. Both at 170.

You want to explain why Pavlik is better?

No way. Prime Winky dominates Pacquiao, Mayweather, Martinez, and anyone else who could make 154. The only guys who'd beat Wink at lmw are the absolute best of the best, Hearns and McCallum. Winky would be too big and too strong for the best of today. His high guard, ramrod jab and relentlessness would grind them all down. In an era where every troll cries about his favourite fighter being underrated, Winky truly is. If he'd got the decisions he deserved vs unbeaten Vargas and unbeaten Taylor, maybe he'd get the respect his talent deserves. Ability-wise, Winky at 154 is up there with Hopkins at 160, Mayweather at 130 et al as the best fighters of his generation. Only Jones at 168 was a class above.

Of the current crop at 154? Only Cotto. He's clearly not as dominant as he was at 140 but he'd still give Winky hell.
