Its called being ironic , coming from the same part of the world I thought you may understand , but it looks lost on you.

can't see Cotto landing more than a handful of solid punches the whole fight. just too basic a fighter, not to mention his leaky defense.

I agree, he'd do little of relevance during the fight. I just think winky gets more dominant as the rounds progress

Lara slaughtered williams because he was able to replicate martinez's style in his victory over williams.

There is no blueprint to defeat a prime winky, all you can hope is that your busy enough and the judges aren't competent at scoring.

The winky that lost to williams, was a mere shell of the winky that dominated mosley.

when he was active Winky was my favorite fighter, but he always shot himself in the foot, especially after not taking the rematch with Taylor right off the bat. I thought he won their fight and should have cemented it with a rematch.

No one. Floyd and Manny are too small and Sergio isn't talented enough. I wonder how a young, green, RJJ would do?

Yeah a rematch with taylor would have been brilliant for winky because he'd have won again and then been able to defend against the likes of sturm and pavlik leaving a greater legacy at mw.

Winky was 38, out of shape and semi retired when Williams fought him, yet he still caught with clean shots, Williams won by throwing 1000+ shots against an old semi retired fighter, most of which were picked off. A prime Winky EASILY beats Williams.

What Martinez fight at 154 showed you he had what it takes to beat Winky there?

Winky is too skilled for Sergio who also likes to take breathers in the middle rounds, I don't see him beating Wink
