He wasn't half the fighter back then imo how much did he weigh fight night against mab the first time round?

Haha margo aint one of the top welters and certainly has never been one of the top super welters, he has no significant victories in over 2 years and has zero at lmw. If pac can be hurt by him he'd sure as hell be hurt by winky.

Just out of interest here, how many prime winky fights have you seen? No offence but it sounds like you haven't seen too much of him from back then because there's no way you'd think this otherwise.

I say he's definitely an underrated fighter, but some of you guys seem to be wayyyy overrating him. "ATG", nightmare for just bout anyone? :?

I guess we should also give Mayweather and Pac more credit for beating Mosley than as well.

Winky already beat a high volume puncher in Ouma who threw 800-1000 punches with Winky throwing half of that and still out landing him.

PW only landed 200 shots on Winky, its not that far off that he would not outland PW with better timing and accuracy in his prime.

I have seen plenty. Margo is not one of the best welters? Beating Clottey, Cintron, and Cotto is nothing? If you believe that, then we don't need to argue.

Margacheato is many and I mean many levels below, Shane Mosley, ODLH, and Tito, hell he made an old ass Mosley look 10 yrs younger, he really isn't any good, especially with out loaded wraps.

Pac's simply too small for Wright. one of Wright's best attributes was his strength and Pac doesn't size up well at all

You're making sense. Sergio and Golovkin make for great fights with prime Winky. Winky beats those others you mentioned. But I don't see why Winky let Williams out work him so badly. And Monzon decisions any of them.

I dont like him either. But to say he isn't any good is kind of foolish, seriously.

He was the top guy at 147 briefly but I agree that he was not at the same level of Tito, Mosley, DLH ect

Mainly looking at longevity of fighting at the top, the other guys were at the top for years and multiple weight classes fighting the best. Margo had some success and was the man to beat for a short while but he was not at their level or their consistency.

Agreed. Once again though, he's not "not that good" though. That isn't really fair to say. Not saying you said that, but the other dude.
