Perfect example of why I dont consider cut wins real victories. Barrerra had enormous amounts of blood in his eyes, he was losing badly far more from the sheer inconvenience of the cuts than Khan actually beating him on boxing skill. Now, you can obviously argue that Khan did beat him soundly because he was able to cut him, but having hairline/forehead cuts, while very bloody, represent little actual damage to the fighter. Its the inconvenience factor that makes them so inhibitive.
..just pointing out the cut problem, even though it's not a TKO win. That **** fight should have been stopped before the 4th, then rematch. imo
cuts are not accidents when the fighter is cutting you up on purpose fighters who know how to throw strait slicing punches know how to cut you, hatton v floyd lamply said before the fight that floyd coner said they were going to cut hatton up even though hatton hadnt been cut in years in the third round floyd threw 3 punches and cut hatton so in that situation where a fighter KNOWS how to cut you and does it on PURPOSE than yes it is a legit tko
I voted yes, unless the cuts are caused by headbuts or cornrow scrapes then opened later by punches. Then the fight should be ruled a TD by whoever is up on the cards. Vitali TD6 Lewis
Not from a but, but punches of course. HE DID THAT TO YOU, it's the same as a lucky one punch ko in certain ways because like LL vs VK Lennox was losing and that was his way to victory.
If caused by punches, and so bad the fighter is at risk of being permantently ****ed, then yes. In short, Shot Fat Lennox Lewis TKO6 Prime Quitali Quitschko.
Show me the point at which Lewis cuts Vitali with a headbutt... :huh I thought the brutal cuts were caused by a huge glancing overhand right.
