He hasnt explained anything about: 1. Dosage (too little it does nothing, too much Pryor has a heart attack) 2. What substance does he think is going to improve stamina, lets see if he, you or anyone claiming this knows sweet FA about PEDs because its clear you dont 3. The fact that most drinkable/edible PEDs need time to digest and can cause stomach cramping, jitteryness and sometimes breathlessness on initial consumption
Despite all these side effects, many athletes continue to falsely believe that amphetamines will provide a performance advantage and continue to use them. The majority of the research on amphetamine use and sports performance shows that taking amphetamines prior to an event has no benefit. It simply makes an athlete feel they are performing better, but in fact they often perform at a lower level than without the drug. Side Effects of Amphetamines Potential short-term side effects of amphetamines include: headaches increased blood pressure increased heart rate insomnia weight loss hallucinations convulsions heart rhythm abnormalities heart attack
Way to copy and paste the first link that comes up on google. There are actually studies out there that claim Amphetamines can reduce fatigue..Most studies say that Amphets have a marginal or zero benefit physically, but everyone's body chemistry is different..Maybe Lewis knew Pryor could get a benefit out of it..In most studies there was at least some subjects that do get a boost..There is also literature out there that it can be linked to confidence boosts brought about by the euphoria that Amphets produces in most people.
A lot of fans consider him the best LWWT ever so he must be an ATG purely in the sense that he will be remembered & ranked reasonably high on ATG lists. He had quite a short career tho compared with most of the top tier ATGs, that will harm him big time.
Its a link that perfectly backs up what I'm saying, they are unproven as performance enhancers. I've experimented with various stimulants pre-workout and many cause me to be overly gittery and they cause breathlessness Secondly your suggesting amphets were in the water? Do you know how easy that would be to cause an overdose and a massive heart attack? If your taking amphets, then taking them prior to the fight would simply be the best, safest time for them to have any desired effect. Having them diluted into water would not Thirdly who's to say Arguello didn't cheat himself if we are throwing random unproven accusations around? Besides that this is all RANDOM SPECULATION, with zero proof or evidence, in legal terms there isn't enough for a search warrant. Giving him ice water is very very plausable, cooling him down, waking him up etc. Like Lewis said boxing skill beat Arguello and thats 1 piece of evidence that is clear as day
I would consider him on the bubble, more leaning toward yes. He destroyed Cervantes, Had two brilliant victories over Arguello. & also defeated an unbeated Dujuan Johnson, who was considered a beast going in. His prime was short, but very bright. I wouldn't pick any other 140 Lb. Champion to beat him. If that's not ATG status, I don't know what is.
:rofl:rofl fixed it for you i have heard a story like that where there is a camcorder clip of Aaron beofre the fight burping. Lewis said in the bottle was something to setttle his stomach. is it not Sparkling water, and if it is wouldnt that give Aaran a stitch Yes he did come out strong for that 14 th round however he had been coming out strong for most rounds prior to that. Taking a few rest rounds in between. That night i just think Aaron and Alexis were perfect for each other and made each other fight at such a high pace. They brought out the best in each other and Alexis just happened to be a bit past it and up a few weights so he was the first to go. Whatever was in that bottle that night we would have seen the same fight i dont think it affected Aaron as the pace didnt jump up suddenly in the 14th the pace had been as frantic going into the 14th. I just think we should be amazed both guys fought taht hard and that long. I do believe something was in that bottle and it definitly takes away from Aarons victory and i bet in hindsight he is kicking himself for it and if it was something illegal i really hope they are punished for it. JT i have never read/seen an interview where A.A questions it can you provide me a source? Not that i dotn believe you just i have seen the opposite, 1. Surely any good corner would be doing this too. And why did they just decide to do this in the 14th round. Also what exactly does ice water do. 6. **** off, Alexis is a true gent and after the fight said he didnt care what was in that bottle Aaron won and taht was that. 1. Naughty boy drugs are for cheats 2. Alexis would never cheat, dont even suggest that. 3. it s speculation not random though. It is not random as Panama Lewis clearly asked for 'the bottle he mixed' and this is filmed twice. Its not as though some guy just randomly said aaron cheated
For one thing, the man in your avatar can give him a run for his money. Also, can one really be an ATG with just three wins over two fighters who were both past there prime and/or above their best weight? Shouldn't having a short prime somewhat detract from ATG status, as it should take some time to get that high?
No its a link to a wikipedia like site that summarizes the points and gives no great detail or insight into the studies that the writer has made up her mind from. You are making claims about stimulants when their evidence to the contrary. Im only suggesting a PED that could have been used that may have the effects that some people claim Pryor displayed after drinking the "black bottle". As M2S said Pryor was on the bottle from the early rounds and we dont know if he was on it before hand..Plenty of time for drug to be absorbed..Having it before the 14th could have just had a placebo effect..I dont know Im not a doctor. Anyway Im not trusting your word, you admit your a drug cheat. :tong Using drugs in sport makes baby Jesus cry.
Why does any of this need to be "explained"? Whoever mixed the bottle knew what the hell he was doing; so what? Why would that be surprising? The fact still remains you tried to claim what was in the bottle was not a factor in the fight, simply because it was given to him "too late." That was completely incorrect, he drank from the bottle as early as the second round.
..i know a man who drank from that bottle. he said it tasted like gasoline. maybe there are flavored waters that have this taste.
He was never defeated in his prime. His lone loss came only after he was well past his prime. If he had retired undefeated, would his stock be indeed higher?
