Here's Golovkin discussing his image. It's translated for you for obvious reasons:
The image of this guy with a big happy smile. They think it is from some sort of happy-go-lucky attitude towards life, or maybe from being a simple man. No, this is not the case.
As you can see, I’m a closed person. I don’t want to babble on about everything. I just don’t have time for that; and I feel like there’s no point to it.

And here he is explaining the existence of halfwits like you:

Let’s break it down. People form opinions, they start to believe in something, then they voice their opinions on social media. Then you get drama and intrigue, something changes, now they start to hate the person, then they love him again. Then something happens somewhere and some PR company makes a claim saying like “ohh look what Gennady said about so and so, he’s this and that, but he didn’t say anything about that guy, so he probably thinks that thing about him.”

So you can see, he's an intelligent man. You couldn't make yourself look more stupid if you tried.

I understand what you are saying, boxers are really hurt by being yes men for promoters, like Manny, but these guys don't speak English.

LOL, he's a wooden head as I suspected.

Sanchez, his trainer isn't a some PR company, he's GiGi's trainer.

The same one who says Little g is better than SRR, SRL, Hagler and knocks out HWs and beat up Kovalev.
The same trainer who said GiGi would face anyone from 154-168.
The same lying trainer who says everyone is ducking GiGi when everyone can plainly see that GiGi has ducked every A-calss fighter who has called him out.
Sanchez and GiGi's many lies are finally catching up to them.

GiGi expects people to believe he is unaware of his trainer talking all this garbage and fans shouldn't make conclusions based on the lies his trainer spreads on a daily basis. Lies that GiGi is fully aware of.
    What a dunce!

I fell for K2's trick that GiGi doesn't speak decent English. He does, but acts the dummy to Sanchez's Ventriloquist act so he avoid responsibility for the nonsense Sanchez says.

Well Sanchez does all 3, I'm sure GGG is deep down annoyed by him as well, I personally can't stand him.

LOL Uppercut is the new Dino of BF24. It's been a while since we had that level of obsession around here. Damn, good thing GGG is 33 and not 23, or Uppercut could end up a bitter old man before Golovkin loses.

I don't think its Abel too much, its the team or at least Abel takes his queues. I've never bought the "Image" that was started ,and I don't think it was started by his team but rather the media.

If you actually look without bias, it's pretty easy to see that the fighter fights, the media spins whatever sounds good to get hits that day and some of it sticks. The promoter, managers and PR guys then do their spin which is always informed by what the media is saying and come up with an angle to encourage the "fighting team" to keep. "Fighting team" being the boxer, coaching staff etc because in the game of boxing the corner also acts as the most visible mouthpiece especially for foreign fighters. When media comes and does interviews, its the corner that has to talk the most.

No cornerman is ever going to go against what the fighter/management says, that's not how the power structure works. Sure, there is an odd exception here and there but its just that- the exception. Every cornerman in existence is going to support/hype their fighter, which is why I always take what they say with a grain of salt.

Being "in someones corner" is a mainstream term, that comes directly from boxing. It means basically unconditional support, in this case for the careers of their charges in and out of the ring. Roach, Shields, Robert Garcia, JDJ, Hunter, all do the same thing when the situation calls for it.

Team GGG/K2 is just like pretty much every other professional team that operates at the premium network level. They are actually more effective than most in my view, given their starting position and what they have managed to achieve.

Fighter: Fights , sticks to script
Management: Oversees, makes final decisions - sometimes with fighter's OK depending on relationship
Promoter and PR: Sees whats being said and how, formulates the plans and handles the public heavy lifting
Cornerman: Carnival barks, takes queues from the people paid to develop said queues

In short, it's the same everywhere.
