Golota is waaaaaay more popular there, everybody knows him.

 

I know they don't do ppvs over there, that's why I said that no-one paid to watch him (unlike DLH/May) so you can't say Adamek is more popular than both of them. I even said later on in the post that they don't do PPV's over there.

I believe he should have gotten the decision against Byrd. What pissed me off was the black lady judge Melvina Lathen(?)who gave Byrd the last round, which Golota clearly won! Because she gave it to Bryd, that made the fight a draw.

I have to disagree about the Ruiz fight, which I attended at Madison Square Garden. Golota did well early in the fight, but he let up in the 2nd half & Ruiz got in some monster shots on AG's face.

Remember, you have to beat a Champion CONVINCINGLY, and Golota let Ruiz look good the last few rounds.
