Is Adamek-Klitschko similar to...

Adamek is one of my favorites. action fighter, hard worker with great skills and solid jaw. whats not to like. His power is average to just above average for a HW, but Vitali has an iron jaw and is much stronger. This is a total hit and move fight for Adamek, but I can't see him doing it all night long.

 

Vitali looked pretty slow in his short fight with solis, maybe he gets old very fast? Maybe vitali was pretty slow with briggs, the thing is he looked pretty fast fighting very slow briggs.
In that solis fight vitali looked sloppy with poor coordination, right now vitali is better opponent for adamek than wlad. Adamek doesn't have power to KO wlad anyway. Vitali looked old and slow last fight.

 

Disagree. I thought adamek looked improved in his last fight and much more comfortable as a heavyweight against mcbride. I think the fight would be even more lopsided now in my opinion.

Nobody can deny Adamek beating Vitali is a hard sell. But you have to admit, everything that possibly has to do with luck is on Tomas's side.

Things like:
-getting the perfect fights to prepare him in the best way possible
-not getting injured or seriously hurt/koed by some of those haymakers (grants comes to mind)
-High activity
-Vitali is getting old, inactive, and his last fight with solis didn't help those matters(he is aparrently scrambling to get another fight in with white wolf)
-fight is in Poland


Cant say I'll be schocked if he gets pummeled like an abused women, but I will be there supporting him and I believe 100% if luck keeps on his side he can win!

Nope. Vitali is going to easily beat thomas for nine rounds before knocking Adamek out.

Arreola is obviously lacking the discipline to improve his skills and come in shape, he is just relying on power and that's why he couldn't outpoint Adamek. But he did land some powerful shots on Adamek, somethin he was never able to do to Vitali. Arreola is a good indicator how Vitali's ratio of height, reach and movement is too good for Adamek to have much success. Adamek has some speed but not enough to beat Vitali.

I have feeling that Adamek-Vitali is going to be very much like Vitali-Arreola - to the extent that Adamek is slight better than Arreola, but probably not enough to really challenge Vitali.

New blood on the heavyweight throne would be good and if Adamek is somehow able to score an upset, I´d be very pleased.

 

True. I dont get it that some people think it was a bad fight for Adamek. It was a very good fight for him. He boxed 12 rounds and barely got hit by a bigger man. I am curious about the punch statistic to see Adamek's workrate in that fight. His plan wasnt to KO McBride and some people dont get it. He deosnt need to prove that he has power and may KO big boxers. He proved that he is fast, elusive, accurate and has good stamina.

That wasnt Adamek goal to KO McBride. The fight was a preparation for Vitali, so the more rounds boxed, the bigger experience gained :smoke Whats more McBride was fighting pretty dirty and every frontal attack by Adamek was very dangerous for Adamek

Adamek is a solid boxer, and he can beat anyone at HW expect the Klitschko's. Despite his record he's a small HW. He deosn't have the size or the power to bother Vitali. I even think Chambers can beat Adamek, who's similar in size to Adamek.

 

Adamek has no chance, Vitali is not only bigger, he hits harder, is faster, is smarter in the ring, has better stamina, better chin, you name it.............

 

Adamek will try to frustrate Vitali with his speed and workrate. Vitali always has had a huge advantage in workrate. In Adamek-Vitali, it will be the Pole who will be busier fighter.
