ah Decebal i do tend to overexagerate slightly when it comes to Adi...I'm a fan what can I say...While Dawson is very skilled I can't see him avoiding Diaconus power...that being said Dawson certainly won't be walking through his power...When Dawson gets hit flush he will do what any mortal would do and be more defensive further playing into Diaconus hands and end game....Sure Dawson is hard to hit but he can't run forever...on that note Diaconu isnt easy to hit by any means...It's just how I see it playing out mate... Dawson is an excellent fighter with well above average skills....so is Diaconu Yes I do see Diaconu becoming LHW champ within a year:good Bute and Kessler?? They would be good fights for Diaconu but I like Bute and Kessler and wouldnt wish Diaconu on them.....Diaconu has a left hook Kessler could only dream of and you know it:good
But he is, and thats where your analysis has a serious flaw. You are seriously downplaying Dawson's strengths and exaggerating Diaconu's. And exactly why will Diaconu be walking through Dawson's punches to get to him? You said something to the effect that Dawson hits like a girl, but had no explanation for Dawson's higher KO ratio over Diaconu's, who you claim hits like a beast. Discrepancy....
Dawsons is the biggest wrath in boxing today. He as beaten everyone out there, proven everything he as to prove. So now all he as left is fighting the young up and comers like Johnson and cant be bothered with washed up old farts mentally weak enough to challenge him.
One extreme point of view certainly doesn't make the other valid. Dawson is young and up and coming, but he has proven more than Diaconu, and in the process, has gained higher regard from the public in general. As well he should.
Realizm doesnt live up to his name. Compares Diaconu's fight style to that of a prime Tyson.....need we say more
People speak as if he as proven tons more then Diaconnu. Both have pretty similar acomplishments. Dawson as betten Adamek and that is alot. But not enouh to set them worlds appart.
I've never downplayed Dawson's skill or ability...as I've said previously I've slightly exagerated Diaconu's...I don't think he's easy to hit at ALL....He's 5'9, keeps his hand up around his head whenever he's not firing, combine this with good body and head movement...he's much harder to hit than you portray...One things for sure it will be a great fight:good
They speak of his potential, and rightfully so. And Harding was more of a test than Hoye was as well. I like Hoye, but he was more hyped than both these guys were in certain parts, and he dropped the ball.
The Diaconu/Tyson style comparison has long been understood by anyone who has seen him fight by boxing fans, journalists and commentators alike so YOU are the minority here
Well you did say last night that Dawson was a weak puncher. However, lets just wait until after the fight happens. I think we will have more to talk about then.
Nothing close to what Tyson did sorry. The only thing they have in common is being the shorter opponent with power
I was pretty mashed last nite mate...I said alot of **** to different people...drunk dialing at like 2 in the morning and ****atsch I'm sober now and Dawson can punch:good
Potential, i agree with that. But read the earlier post in this thread and what is nutthuggers are saying. Diaconnu is to unproven to face him according to many, thats just plain stupid. Watch both guys and you see weakness. Dawsons defence is what i find to be the most overated, even more so then Diaconus power. Anyway Diaconu deserved is shot and as an exiting style, wiche should be enough for people to want the fight.
[YT]S9wlqLfPjzw[/YT] Sounds to me like Diaconu HIMSELF is the one calling himself a Tyson like fighter.Listen to the commentator.
