Agreed, that's why I said he is not too small, he has bigger frame than pac, Bradley, Marquez. I would say he has similar dimension with cotto, Matthyse and Garcia. Slightly smaller if you compare to big welters like thurman, spence or Brook. He is just not good enough. While in lower weight he enjoy physical advantage.

Broner would have a hard time being the best at 140. 147 is out of the question. I doubt he could get past Mathysse or Postol. Crawford would obviously kill him.

A fighter who never was. Talked his way into the light. Can't take heat, buckles under pressure.

I was at the fight at Cintas Center. Broner is not a big guy. That is his primary limitation. He just doesn't carry the power the way he did when he was fighting smaller guys. Granados was hit with solid shots by Broner but it didn't seem to have much impact on him. I'm sure Broner was knocking guys out with those same shots when he was in the lower weights.

His limitation was that Maidana wasn't a bum or paper titlist like Broner's other opponents.

Agreed! George Foreman at 45 years old had better footwork.

He's not too small, but he's not a big WW at all... it'd serve him better cutting more weight to 140. The bigger thing is he was overrated (on an exposure level) for how good he ever really was... but **** man.. I can't take **** away from a dude who made millions basically by having someone comb his hair after a win.

    Dude got paid.

I watched an interview with Broner before the Granados fight and he just looked so tired, his face looked old, for a man his age he shouldn't be looking like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders and he shouldn't be looking that drained.

Maybe the lifestyle he has lived for years has finally caught up with him, you can't live that sort of lifestyle, train seriously, dramatically cut weight and expect not to burn out at some point.

Maybe he has just burnt out, it wasn't long ago he was in a car with a gun suggesting/hinting he was going to end his own life. This is a man with issues away from boxing and if those issues are bleeding into his professional life then he has serious problems.

Broner is a serious head case, though. Threatening suicide one day, throwing money in the air on another day after getting change at Wal-Mart, saying, "I'm Adrian Broner. I don't need no change."

He's just not very good. With enough skills, being a little undersized just wouldn't matter
