Is Adrien Broner the real deal ?

I'm skeptical, especially to the idea that he might somehow be the predecessor to Mayweather. Floyd would have handled De Leon with ease at that point in his career. There's talks about how he's improved since that fight, and that's possible, but it wasn't that long ago (14 months).

Until he fights and beats someone of note I just consider him to be someone who might be the next Berto - a solid fighter but not an elite fighter.
