Is age really just a number in boxing?

    Sorry, but that video doesn't say anything about age. The older guy looks like he used to box and the younger guy looks like he's never trained a day in any combat sport in his life. No shock the older guy put him down.

    Age means **** all. If you can fight, have no injuries or health conditions then fight, however old you are.

    I am not agree with you age isn't just number.. it has huge impact on strength .. No doubt old buddies have more techniques than younger kids.

    My coach is in his mid 40s. He's got faster hands than anyone I know, broke the ribs of someone that wanted to spar full contact. He started in his late 20s, early thirties.

    Yes, but not compete
    Age is not a factor. The limits that are associated with age are huge factors

    People's bodies might feel different at different ages. Greg Oden's body is probably older than his age.
