I'm obviously disappointed the fight is delayed \ off. And I don't claim to know how real \ fake the injury is.
But let's suppose - as some posters have - that it's Fury's strategy to age Usyk out, and take the fight at a later date. Is this a strategy which would work? Or does the longer it's delayed actually favour Usyk as Fury is also getting older and is, arguably, less well preserved?
    Thoughts ?

Fury is hoping Usyk gets beat by another contender so he can claim the victory by proxy

Fury will be spending 3 months healing whilst gaining 30 lbs on fried food and pints.

Usyk will be himself; sober, and in the gym.

    Bad strategy for Fury.

And for the record, he will never fight Usyk anyway

Why do I feel like he is going to leapfrog Usyk and fight Joshua instead once he is healed up?

Fury expects that Usyk will now declare that he no longer wants this fight so that Fury can call him "a ducker". Namely, Fury is disturbed and has no ability to understand, and his illness helps him to be privileged.

Usyk should just stay busy while Fury retreats in his own mind and gets out of shape and loses discipline.

Fury's biggest problem is that he is a front runner and people like that lose confidence once their opponents aren't bullied by their tactics. His other problem is that he has John Fury shouting nonsense and cheerleading him instead of grounding him in reality.

Honestly, this is a bad take. Aging Usyk out? Does Fury not get older? Fury's lifestyle is a much worse. The longer it goes, the worse for him. He's not doing this.

Fury is the worst type of coward. He is not only scared of getting schooled by Usyk but just wants to drag this out as long as possible and be champion in his own mind. Never actually going trough with the fight, making it look like he's brave and Usyk is ducking while keepijg the belt hostage. Hoping Usyk gets beaten by someone else, retires or gets stripped. Its honestly one of the worse ducks in boxing history.

Usyk was substantially slower against Dubois compared to himself in first Joshua fight. I think it's the perfect strategy for the Fraud King. Add 1 year more to Usyk's age and he will lose all his superiorities.

Once Usyk is singled out from the competition, Fury won't lose his precious WBC title for at least another 5 years, and the money will continue flowing for the Fury dynasty.

Unlike Beterbiev, Usyks aging is really showing, his speed and reaction is not the same already

Reflexes, Stamina and speed is the first thing you lose, and Usyk lost a lot already. Size, strength and power is the last to go. So Fury can always just grab and hold. And Usyk legs are getting worst and worst.
Usyk also had 350 amateur fights, and a good what 10 semi-pro fights in the WSB.

Exactly, and it's all down to style and what a boxer rely on it.
