The fight that most sense for him besides Fury is Parker imo. He's had a war with Wlad, been battered by Ruiz and Dubios, and the fights with Usyk must have taken their toll as well. One more young puncher might be one too many. He must have made hundreds of millions, why risk getting punch drunk now? Fury or Parker are safer options in that sense, and also bigger paydays.
Do we really need a rematch?! The same outcome is likely so I rather see both fighting others. DD vs Parker and AJ vs Fury is more fun to me than another rematch, I’m so tired of all this rematches we had lately.
Of course he is as Dubois showed zero respect to Joshua just went in there and demolished him like he was some Southern Area title challenger. Joshua when he's fighting 5'11 light heavyweight novices = Joshua when he's fighting good heavyweights who can punch =
He's seen Foreman-Frazier 2. He knows that when you get demolished that bad the first time, the second isn't going to go any better. He's never fighting Dubois again.
I mean, that kinda implies that Fury himself is any more deserving... Looking at how long it is since he actually won a fight, let alone uncontroversially, you could certainly see an argument that the only reason for anyone to fight him is exactly the same as why they'd fight AJ - cold, hard cash. Besides, AJ is still "the" payday for Fury - so why wouldn't he go for that first? Especially if it's a less risky fight, which he's never been too hesitant in taking?
