It seemed like he had more to give when he backed away from the ref and stopped listening to commands. Looked like his mind gave up well before his body.

    Yup

& hist post Usyk tantrum is up there...actually without doubt the best post fight tantrum. He called himself a bum without calling himself a bum.

It's up there for sure. His bottle went when he could have bit down on his gumshield and continued. That big goofy smile when hurt is just comedy gold

His tantrum post usyk 2 was even worse for me. Fury also had some embarrassing moments about the proxy war and happy new year, but even that pales in comparison to Joshua bottling it and having a complete breakdown post fight

I dont think he really did "quit". He was dropped multiple times, got up multiple times, was still in there a few rounds after initially taking a shot that he never seemed to recover from. He seemed to be pretty disorientated and asked "why am i feeling like this?" to his corner in between rounds at one point. Seems harsh to say he consciously made the decision to quit, especially considering he took an immediate rematch.

Liston in the second Ali fight was as bad as it gets.

    Well, both fights really.

I think the OP might struggle to name 5 historically significant fights off the top of his head.

Haney vs Garcia might be up there - not solely the defeat itself, but because Haney got whooped so bad he cried all the way to the commission for months and got them to turn it into a NC lol

Fury saying he won the fight and it was too easy, that's why he got clipped, is even more embarrassing. AJ actually accepted the loss, he was just pissed he gave everything and still got beat.
