That is quite the scorching take! Care to elaborate?

I really don't see how Parker is more skilled than Povetkin if we're talking boxing fundamentals other than perhaps a superior jab? I can understand the thinking behind Parker being the tougher opponent or the favourite H2H due to size and youth but I rate the Russian higher in technical ability.

Parker`s defense and counter punching are better.

    Complete and utter hogwash.
You don't know Wladimir Klitschko , thats all there is to it. If you did , you'd know he's not the type of guy to adapt or deviate from strategy /gameplan on the fly and enacts the same fight plan over and over again.

That circus show show you saw was rehearsed in camp. Nobody perfects wrestling and grappling maneuvers unless they trained for it and Wlad trained to illegally defeat Povetkin because he knew that was his only way of securing a victory.

Wlad blows his wad mentally and physically having to fight Povetikn off him within 5 rounds before collapsing in a crumpled heap in a fair contest , you best believe that.

Ali Bashir stated in an interview that the thought process going in was get the win and look better in the next fight.
His next fight was against Alex Lepai the forklift operator - the perfect opponent to make Wlad look good.

If Povetkin is getting wobbled by a gracing lefthook such as this, he's damn sure not surviving a well squared up, well committed and all out gun blazing assault from Wladimir Klitschko.
How many times was he knocked down in the fight? And Wladimir was not even committing to the punches.

You don't see any problem being wobbled by small grazing shot that wasn't even thrown with 100% intention?

He pecked at Chris Byrd from the outside. Ike went at Byrd and blew him out in 5 rounds.

Mercer was an old body bag who walked head first into Wlads shots , yet amazingly out jabbed him and marked up his face with his jab.

Barret? Nah. That was a 7 round jab and grab fest.

    McCine huh??

    Klitschko or Parker

Klitschko had lost a step but wasn't unrecognizable to the top 10 ATG he was a couple of years previous.

Parker was a young unbeaten world champion with a pretty good resume who came into the ring in the best shape of his career.
