Is Algieri's win over Provodnikov better than any single win Maidana has had?

Maybe not you specifically but look at this thread the best thing Ruslan has done is almost beat Bradley and has been hyped up as a beast since that fight. Maidana in some opinions nearly beat Mayweather yet all you hear is how he's not a top 5 WW and a bum.

There is nothing on Provodnikov's resume that suggest he's a better win than Broner except almost beating Bradley.

Beating Alvarado, who would beat Broner :good

I'd also favor Herrera to beat him controversy free (unlike he did Provo), I'd think Javier Jaurgal can pull of the upset (that's provided of course those fights are ref and judged fairly)

I agree with this. I think Provod was a solid win but Maidana's over competition is much better. Let's remember before Algeri beat Provodnikov he was fighting guys ranked 50th. (which is still too much comp for Danny Gift Garcia)

It's impressive for Algieri to have beaten Ploddin' Provodnikov far less decisively than a shot to **** Corley? :think

maidana beating broner got him a floyd fight

algeri beating provodnikov got him a pacman fight

as a hungry fighter who wants to make some money and history, who would you rather fight.

which fighter would make you the most money ?

which fighter would you rather beat more ? 6th person to beat manny or the 1st to beat mayweather ?

i think maidana beating broner was better then algeri beating provodnikov.
both maiana and algeri were underdogs but chino did a number on maidana and sent him to the hospital. algeri got beat up and sent to the hospital but won the fight.

maidana fought the better fighter and got the better reward :good

BRONER HAS A GREAT CHIN :hi:

    Bro come on son
He beat Victor when Ortiz was crowned the golden kid to take out the division who also went on to face Money, Money, yeah yeah:nut

Look Maidana gets little love around here but he is the real deal where as maybe Chris has the goods but he went from zero to hero quickly.

Maidana has been up and down and back up in the game.

I am no expert so I was and still am I guess just busting ya ball sack:lol:

    :smoke

Victor Ortiz isn't better than Provodnikov, or at any point has been better than the Provo Chris beat. He's one of the most over hyped fighter in this generation

    Who's saying he's great?

If you wanna look at Maidana you could say (although I don't think Broner's his best win most who argue are using him): flat footed, glass chinned , style but no substance Broner is a barometer for greatness.....really?
