Usyk has a strong case to be head to head GOAT in hw boxing. But judging the career, and this is what GOAT should be about, Ali is the GOAT

    You answered the question appropriately
H2h is impossible, but who achieved more isy question

Someday you may have 5 sprinters running faster than bolt in an Olympic final, but that doesn't make all 5 greater, as he set the bar and dominated his field with longevity

Tyson was 5'11 or under with a 71 inch reach and smashed guys much bigger and some heavier too

Holyfield was lighter than usyk when he first beat top heavyweights. Joshua is an overrated can and if Fury was lean? Lewis would likely outweigh him. Dubouis isn't any bigger than bruno, just a little taller

Pacquiao climbing over 40lb in his career is WAY greater, as weight percentage is much greater at lower rates

Henry Armstrong held 3 titles simultaneously in the original 8 division category

Duran started his career 135, yet was standing his ground well past his prime with one of the 160 goats

Usyk isn't the only guy beating big men. Michael spinks was good enough to win his gold medal first try and was a former 175 fighter. I guess you realise Holmes was a solid 220 plus heavyweight

What weight was primo vs Louis?
Didn't Dempsey smash the much larger Jess Willard

At the end of the day Ali etc have more ranked wins than usyk has had fights and many more world title defences

You guys talk about stacked decks. They hated Ali that much they robbed him of his prime, yet he came back and still became the man. Usyk fights once per year, where these other champs fought way more often. Ali read out the division in the 60s and the 70s. Usyk read out Cruiser but has hung around the same 3 guys at hw.

Ali too had rematches and trilogies, but he fought often enough too, to wipe out many top contenders

Ali is greater By a landslide
    He has the longevity
    The ranked wins
    The title defences
    The opponents

Usyk has the zero and beat a couple of larger guys, that's it

There’s a lot to unpack here. Which point do you want me to respond to first? Can take down any of these arguments. Also Adam, aren’t you a Fury fanboy that was picking Fury to easily beat Usyk?

Yes I picked Fury to win
Yet I don't have Fury at the elite level

    OK unpack this

Do usyks top 15 wins, I'll do the same for Ali
Do usyks ranked wins I'll.do the same
How many hof fighters have both beaten? I'll allow you to add aj and Fury if u want
We will do most title defences
    Who was champion longer?

Which fighter is known by everyone in recent history, most don't know usyk

Compare their greatest opponents resumes. You usyk fanboys love to mention gold medals. Ok outside of joshua who was handed a gold medal, how many other Olympic champions did usyk beat?

Ali has Patterson, frazier and Foreman who held medals many years apart

On the Subject of Olympic medals, Ali won gold first time as a kid, did usyk?

When Ali was world champion dethroning the fearsome liston as an undedog aged 22, what was usyk doing at 22?

Ali is not only tye biggest/greatest name in boxing, but all of sport. One thing is saying usyk is greater than mayweather, but Ali? You are wrong and you don't have the stats to back usyk being the greater hw. It's just a bs opinion based on h2h which anyone can use for any fighter

Face it, Ali has many more ranked wins than usyk
He won the gold medal on his first try
He has certainly beaten more hof guys than usyk will
He was robbed of 3 years, yet still came back to be the best

This is not a thread on who is better. It may be usk (not my opinion), but a thread on who is greater with the most accolades (that's Ali for the vast majority who understand the sport)

Usyk is great, but Ali is the Greatest (just like he told us)

Ps you can't argue for usyk being greater in accomplishments, because it isn't possible
Might as well tell us the sky is green

You can't prove that, same as I can't prove Ali beats usyk

But I CAN prove Ali having much greater stats, you can't for usyk

So stick to that bum lucas browne or glass jawed rat like tzsyu, things you know

    P.s
Has that coward goodman finally came out from under his bed, now he doesn't need to fight inoue? Lol

I didn't realize that this was an investigation that required proof? I thought it was a public forum where opinions are welcome. Sorry to upset you I didn't realize it was that time of the month for you.

It is a thread about greatness, I.e stats, title defences, opposition etc, not our opinions. It's more about facts

Although I believe you are a soft little coward, who couldn’t beat eggs, unfortunately I have to state that as an opinion (though I'm definitely right) you little soft poof

He has the best five fight streak in heavyweight history. That's why he's rounding out the top ten.

The GOAT wouldn’t in a million years run away from unfinished business and retire ;) Also wouldn’t call up a mere acquaintance pretending to be buddy buddy for a phone call PLEADING with a dangerous southpaw to defeat your biggest challenge for you. Just sayin.

Would the GOAT rematch the same 3 guys, target a jake paul fight and retire without having cleared the division ?

I didn't know busting a man's face open with your fists until he's not allowed to continue was unfinished business, or somehow not a sufficient win condition. Hell of a bigger statement than beating someone on points:)

    A) Two of the rematches were contractual obligations and one is for his third undisputed. Really, this is foolish.
    B) Jake Paul is an MMA fight. He wants to try a new sport.
    C) He's 38. He can retire when he likes.
