Where does Vitali rank on your list, or do you not make lists?

Nothing i said was misleading. Byrd flat out said Wladmir hits 3x harder than Vitali and that Vitali was much easier to box than Wladmir.

Vitali threw his shoulder out because Byrd was making him miss and looking foolish. Byrd was making adjustments and keeping up despite being a feather fisted former light heavyweight who only had a 2 week notice for the fight. Again I ask if Vitali was dominating him so easily why didn't he ask for a rematch?

You didn't address anything i wrote about Vitali's horrible competition. There was nothing misleading about that either, everything i wrote about Peter, Briggs, Sanders, etc was 100% facts. They were all 1 dimensional and in their late 30's, slow, and easy to hit. Tyson, Louis, Holmes, Foreman and Ali would have a field day with his competition and they wouldn't be losing rounds either.

You give Vitali **** for his best wins but I’d give Vitali a good chance at beating anyone Ali beat. Vitali beats Frazier, Norton, Lyle, Shavers, Quarry, Patterson, Ellis etc. The toughest fight would be foreman and I still lean towards Vitali in that one

How would any of those guys beat Vitali? I can honestly only see a case being made for Foreman and Lyle

That's just it. You never listed, all the guys who Ali beat noticeably neglecting likely the best H2H fighter on Ali's resume in Liston. Liston, Foreman, and Frazier imo win comfortably.

This is a really good point that I’m sure everyone will ignore. Fury was on a drug and food binge for his layoff. Ali was probably still training and in good shape for a good portion of his layoff. It’s just the fact that he was in a pretty easy era in his prime. It’s just that the competition got tougher so he’s not gonna look as good, pretty simple when you think about it

The Liston fights were fixed so I’m not even gonna bother counting those. Also Vitali would murder Frazier

If we're matching up each at their best. Mike Tyson would come out in first place. Perhaps run the table. Even 75% of his best finishes in 1st place.

Actually Patterson and Quarry have a chance of beating Vitali and I'm dead serious.

Vitali had trouble with fast hands as seen in the Sanders fight. Patterson was not a 1 trick pony and could box as well as in fight and was way more well rounded than Sanders. Patterson had better defense and could throw powerful combos upstairs and downstairs. Vitali cannot fight on the inside. He did not have a powerful uppercut to keep Patterson off of him. He was technically sound and very strong physically but this isn't a wrestling match. Patterson also had a powerful gazelle punch to nail taller guys with a leaping left uppercut. Unless Vitali knocks Patterson out he is going to have a very difficult night, which will not be easy to do becaudr Vitali was fairly stiff and threw simple straight arm punches while Patterson had great head movement.

As for Quarry this would be a lot closer than people think. He had some similarities to Byrd but hit much harder and was a better pure counter puncher. Quarry feasted on big strong guys. Vitali would not be prepared for Quarry's well rounded boxing and inside game. And the funny this is both of them were susceptible to getting cut so anything could happen. I give Quarry at least a 30-40% chance at his best.

Prime Frazier could actually beat Vitali. The closest comparison we had on Vitali's resume were an obese flat footed Peter who had zero defense and the mediocre Dereck Chisora. Peter managed to go 8 with his ugly cave man style and Vitali couldn't KO him, he quit on his stool. Chisora went the distance and he's C level at best.

Frazier would never quit, had 10x better defense than either of them, better head movement, stamina, hand speed, and skill. He went to the body way more than either which I would definitely affect the big heavy Vitali who wasn't used to guys targeting that area. Vitali would not be shoving Frazier back, nor did have have the arsenal of punches to keep an infighter off of him. It could easily go the distance and Frazier had at least a 50% chance of winning.

Liston literally kills the stiff upright Vitali. It would be a rhinoceros vs a giraffe.
