It would go something like this...

    Ali
    Lewis
    Holmes
    Wlad
    Foreman
    Tyson
    Liston
    Louis
    Frazier
    Vitali

The jury is still out on Fury so I won't comment on him but if he fulfills his promise, he would rank in there. He is a unique combination of size, athleticism and skill.

Great list! But where's Bowe? :D

Also, who do you have in a prime Tyson-Lewis MEGA-FIGHT?

Everyone on that list beats Bowe.

Lummox wins a boring safety first fight against Mike.

Excellent list but where does Holyfield rank in your H2H list?

60s Ali for sure. There's also that one-night FOTC Frazier.

I imagine some might pick some 80s incarnation of Tyson or prime Louis. But I'm not convinced at all Mike would have made it past the above, nor Louis, Liston, Foreman, 1980 Holmes, or perhaps 92 Bowe and Holyfield (not sure on the latter, Holy was too much of a warrior not to engage, and engaging with 80s Mike was a REAL bad idea). To be completely forthright, I doubt Mike would make it past Zaire Ali.

I don't think Louis would have prevailed against Ali either.

Holy and Lewis would pose a formidable challenge to the prime Ali

In a round Robin of all modern hw champs yah I favor ali. He wouldn't go undefeated but he'd have the best record. My reasoning is this. Ali won against guys who were stylistic nightmares for him when he was past prime. Very few champs are like that. Of the few that are, ali had the physical gifts to compete with the larger modern super heavies.

not true he had trouble with joe and never fought anybody who was better then Joe's skills so that says he gets beat by mutiple people and he didnt have great defense in his 70s form and his 60s he had good movement but never used great defense

he was years past prime when he fought joe, a stylistic nightmare who was prime/closer to prime, and he went 2 out of 3.

let me guess... you think Tyson is the h2h king?

I never disputed that multiple people could beat ali. I think all of them would take multiple losses in this wholly imaginary scenario but I like ali to have the best record by the end. You have been entirely unconvincing to the contrary and your reasoning seems entirely that he lost one fight to Frazier past prime which he avenged twice but agree to disagree.
