You just dont understand what it means. Tons of factors are in play like handspeed, size, reach or superior timing but clash of styles can potentially be a major one because certain styles incorporate certain skills that can more difficult to deal with for certain opponents than other styles. That's as simple as i can put it while covering this whole topic
