Is Allan Green for Real?

he's strong , has good ko power , but i think his chin is questionable , not just because of the miranda ko , but he almost got ko'd on friday night fights but a guy who was a fill in ( i can't remember his name ). so against any power puncher his chin could let him down imo. as a fan he's not someone i really root for, he's too cocky , and arrogant , but he does have some skills as well as flaws , in the miranda fight he was acting real weird he kept look ing down at his feet ,i still think even if he's healthy he loses to miranda on the fact miranda will out will him , not saying miranda doesn't get knocked down during the fight though

nit him with a left hook to the temple had green on ***** street and a floow up decked him hard and it was not a flash knockdown, green took a good 30 seconds to recover.

mccarys chance had gone and he followed up with caution.

green then boxed /took no chances and ko`d mccary about 4 rounds later.

 

Yep I remember seeing it...shocked the hell out of me!

 

green was rumored to be next up for calzaghe when the mccary debacle took place and he was then put back on the shelf after the fight.

 

this came up before , but what exactly was his illness ? i know he said in a interview that it was something w/ his colon , and he had like 70% removed or something to that nature but if that were true he'd have to have a colonoscopy bag , the reason i see miranda winning is because he fights till he can't possiably fight anymore ie the kelly pavlik fight , i think alan green is a better well rounded boxer and could out box miranda all night , but i think allan greens ego and the trash talk , hype ect would lure him into trading w/ miranda at some point in the fight and i think miranda would get him , if allan just stuck to boxing he'd most likely get a ud , but that fight on fnf where allan went down he was fighting donnie mccray who took the fight on short notice and it seemed like he was show boating ect and taking the guy lightly and the guy just connected heres a clip

he was still hurt and it took him 30 seconds to get his legs under him.

he was lucky mccary was undersized and cautous .

if mccary had just steamed in and caught him with a few clean shots that would have been it.

and why people question greens chin is that mccary is not a puncher and is a middleweight not a super middleweight.

 

In boxing you need good career management as well as good skills. Sadly Allan Green isn't getting the right kind of management.
