Last known pictures of Allen Green is when he ran out the backdoor without attending the post-fight interviews after getting KTFO by Kessler. Video of him escaping here: http://ekstrabladet.dk/sport/anden_sport/boksning/article1761901.ece Sice then he has not given any interviews and has generally been in hiding. What do you guys think he is doing? And will he ever fight again?
He's surely going to give it a shot sooner or later, it's still a good source of money when he needs it especially with fighters like Kessler making careers fighting part-timers and cabbies.
He's supposed to be fighting tomorrow in the Bute undercard against St Juste, so his boxing career is still going on. I dont think he'll retire soon so there are plenty of highlight reel KO's waiting for him down the road.
I dont really blame him for that. Of course, in a perfect world, he should be professional enough to give the TV people a bit of time, at least. On the other hand, he trained his ass off for that fight. He brought everything there, a do or die type mentality I thought. He was doing a great job, boxing Kessler very well. Then...POW!!! He got KTFO'd. A lot of disappointment to deal with there. Crushing blow to a career in crisis. Not to mention a splitting ****ing headache, I'm sure. Tough night. This content is protected
Found an interview with Allen Green. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIBZuno--M8[/ame] Kessler seems to have spanked the cockyness out of him... now he sounds almost respectful. Although the excuses are still there... as usual. Previously it was always that the opponent had almost no chance... and bla bla.. But I'll be watching it tomorrow for sure...
Look at today's weigh in...Green was 4 pounds over the weight limit and was much more looking like the regular joe than a boxer. No body definition at all. Probably out of shape.
