He looks like he's fecking Irish. Ive been all over Mexico and Ive never seen any mexican that looks like an Irishman.

I think his mom ****ed the milkman. I honestly cant understand how he looks how he does. Its like white parents having a random black child

actually that has happened....so I suppose mexicans can give birth to random Irish every once in a great while

    I heard Canelo's mom also has red-hair.

It's been said that their ancestry has an Irishman somewhere along it.

Only Irishman have red hair? It's obvious that he is pretty much a complete gringo, but why is everyone so convinced that he is of Irish ancestry, not Scottish, Danish etc?

I dont remember exactly how the genetics work but you dont have to inherit it from your parents, some genes are inherited from your grand parents, just like in my case the hair color blond, which I got from my grandmother not my parents. It is possible here that his parents look mexican but one of his grandparents is white.

It's not in bad taste at all, to look at him I would not have asssumed he was mexican, but I've never been to mexico, so I don't know how diverse the looks are. I can tell you this though, most people (the vast majority) or irish people do not have pale skin and red hair.

Something like 30% of Mexicans aren't Mestizios, so while they are a minority all native or all white Mexicans are not super rare.

Also it's incorrect that just Spanish and in Brazils case Portugese Europeans settled in South and Central America. They founded it, but people from all over Europe moved there later. The great waves of poverty stricken Italians who moved to the new world didn't just end up in America, millions went to Brazil, Argentina and other countries. There's a chunk of British Argentinians who look and talk like the rest of them now but have surnames like Smith and Jones because for years Britain did business with Argentina for beef and leather. Someone of some kind of red-headed complection ending up in Mexico isn't that far fetched.

Lol you guys are over thinking this to much.

His mom hair is red, he was.born in Jalisco where there is an abundance of white Mexicans.... there you have it.

Red hair is not rare in Mexican females... but males don't seem to get it much....

Alvatez is different but is as Mexican as they come!! :deal

:good People have stereotypes of countries and how people are supposed to look etc, which are often wrong. Go to italy or spain, they arn't all dark haired and have dark complexions. There are italians and spanish who have very pale skin.

Last I heard, most Latin American countries have mestizo majority populations. Only a few of them have mestizo minorities, like Bolivia.

You lot are clueless. He's just got Spanish ancestry.

The Spanish and Irish are actually the same ethnicity (they came from the same part of the world originally), and there ARE Spaniards (and Italians) with red hair.

Now stop mouthing off about stuff you don't know.
