Of course not. I don't think Alvarez v Cotto is ppv worthy. We, as fans, have lowered our standards to where we accept all kinds of crap and pay for it.
for the record...the last ppv fight i ordered was cotto/floyd. prior to that....cotto/malignaggi and that was because i wanted to see a friend fight on the undercard.
Well since HBO isn't making it a PPV, I guess not, if they thought they could make more money that way they would.
I have to be honest, I have only recently stopped ordering ppv fights because I love boxing and they are affordable to me. Now I feel like that guy in the movie who said " I am mad as hell and I am not going to take it anymore". No more bs ppv's for me. I remember paying for closed circuit fights between Duran and Leonard, Leonard and Hearns and Hearns and Hagler and being glad to pay for them. I haven' t had that feeling in a long time.
Put on a decent undercard and it's no less PPV worthy than Floyd/Maidana 2. But glad this is not going to be PPV.
if the undercard is decent then its ok...but for it as it is, no..i can read the updates on what happens the next day or do a live round by round reading from other websites.
I'd say no but at the same time yes, is this a trick question?:huh I do want to see it as long as Clottey brings his arms instead of super-glue on his head.
Alavarez v Cotto is arguably the second biggest fight in boxing today. If that isn't ppv worthy then what is?
