Is Amir Kahn the Mark Breland of this era?

    Both were standout Amateur stars. Both were lengthy guys. Both were chinny. Both didn't seem to live up to the expectations set by their Amateur careers.

    On a side note, who wins Kahn vs. Breland @ 147.

    There are some similarities but Breland was a better fighter who fought in a much tougher era.

    Khan would not be competitive with someone on the caliber of Marlon Starling.

    breland was giving marlon starling a tough night twice, he was a little unlucky if a fighter like him was around today he'd probably be a tough proposition for a prime floyd and pacquiao. so its kind of bull**** comparing him with khan who's not at that type of level

    Both were lengthy guys? Breland had the reach of a HW...not to mention being an Olympic GOLD medalist. Amir's a good person, but he'd get murdered.
