Is Amir Khan an all time great

    Could he have been?

    I think he had the potential, if his chin had been better and if he'd been a little less hittable in his approach. Khan's handspeed was ridiculous. I mean, Canelo was noted for his speed at the time they had fought but Khan made him look like he was slo-mo.

    Khan did well in our sport, achieved what most can only dream of both in boxing and financial terms, whilst leaving the sport with his brain cells intact, that makes him a winner in my eyes.

    Stephen Colbert? The TV show guy? Nah.

    Maybe you could put Khan into the same catagory as Barry McGuigan. Decent fighter, won titles but at one weight division, meant a lot to his people in a time of troubles. Khan actually won more titles at different weight divisions than McGuigan, and he was a role model, or at least a hero of sorts, to Pakistani's and Muslims in general.
