Is Amir Khan becoming the new Audley?

    The **** that has been coming out of his mouth lately has rivalled some of Audleys finest material.

    Obviously khans had more success but the pair of them are great at the same thing, talking bollocks and getting knocked out.

    Throw in James Degale as another Olympic idiot.

    What is wrong with these guys

    Amir Khan has annoyed the **** out of me lately with his antics and while khan has already surpassed Audley by miles as far as achievements go. He could go down the same path if he doesn't learn to stop talking about what he's gonna do as opposed to go quiet for a while and work on his flaws as a fighter.

    Unlike Audley Khan has made it to double (major) beltholder, before falling down again.
    While Audley has made it to a titleshot, and alone because his countryman was looking for a **** easy, joke defence...

    So there's a huge difference here.
    There is a pattern that British amature medalists seem to follow, but comparing Khan with Audley looks a bit far fetched to me.

    I think this is a reference to delusion rather than boxing ability. In which case, yes they are similar.

    Obviously Khan is the far better fighter and has achieved a lot more, but the two do share some similarities. Both were Olympic heroes at one point, only to be hated when in the pros. Both have portrayed somewhat deluded confidence - fuelling ridicule and more hate. Both have so far failed to live up to their own promises - even if they are at different lengths on the scale.

    The past 8 or so months have been terrible for Khan. Bar the Judah fight, his downfall was marked ever since his war with Maidana. That's when I first noticed he wasn't developing as well as I thought he would be.
