Is Amir Khan faster tha Pacquiao?

All internet forums are the same, no matter what the topic is... there's not a whole lot of actual knowledge or objectivity going on.

 

Khan has the faster handspeed, Pac has the better timing.

 

Don't believe this for a moment.

I don't even think Khan is that much faster if at all. He's fast....anyone who has speed on level of Floyd or Zab is fast. But Khan's combinations are not a fast as Mannys.....One punch at a time he is probably faster like Floyd is.....that Lead right hand is a lazer. Khan is a very good talent and I think he's gonna get better. I don't think he'll reach the level of a Floyd or Manny but he'll go pretty far with the right team behind him.

 

Pacquiao's speed to power ratio blows Khan out of the water. Pointless discussion IMO. Even if Khan's hand speed is a hair faster, it doesn't matter. The speed that Pacquiao has at the power at which he unleashes it, is simply not human.

If Khan was not of middle eastern decent then i think we would be hailing him ala Andre Ward or any other top American prospect.

Khan is faster than Pac, but not by far, to be honest you dont get much faster than them two.
