Is Amir Khan faster tha Pacquiao?

Khan is faster but he doesn't have the accuracy of Pacquiao at speed which lets him down, he goes for more of an overwhelming flurry of punches rather than well picked shots.

 

The one two is faster. Pacquiao is the most fluid combination puncher in the sport. That is what sets him appart from other fast fighters.

 

I'd argue with anyone who thinks giving his athletes PEDs is some how fairplay in any sport.

And Khan might well be faster but only in short bursts and with none of the accuracy.

 

Khan has more natural speed (he is 5'10 and his punches are faster)

Pac is quicker (the nerve endings in his brain are better wired to his muscles, giving him much faster reflexes and decision making)

Pac has better perception (he has an excellent sense of timing and range)

Khan is speedier in an athletic sense... Khan is the superiour athlete

Pac however, is speedier in a boxing sense.. Timing,reflexes, and fast decision making have much more to do witha punches speed/effectivness than actual athletic ability....

So it depends on your definition of speedy

Yes I would say khan has just about the faster hands,
and he will only get better and better and he is still in his early 20's.
In another 5 years can't see anyone beating him IMO

Being an athlete and fighter arent the same thing....

Khan is nothing but speed... His skill is based around his speed,he is the fastest fighter in his division...

Pac only has comprable speed because he is a smaller guy, if pac was 5'10 and khans frame, he wouldnt be as fast as khan....

Khan was an olympic athlete for ****s sake

What makes manny great is his toughness,skill,power,inate ability to land and avoid punches, and dedication to training... not his speed

Khan on the other hand isnt a fighter, he dosent have the toughness,power, natural fighting mentality.... He relies completly on his athletic ability (speed).. And he is one of the top guys of his division based only on his speed....

Look at them, Pac started boxing as a kid and needed to sell donuts to survive in a 3rd world country

Khan grew up boxing as a hobby, went to the olympics, now hes a 23 year old millionair from a 1st world country

If you look at Floyd at 19 years of age, he showed speed, skill, intelligence and good technique.
