    Fair enough if they offered a fight to Fewkes but it just seems such a contradiction with all these "above domestic level" claims.

    True, he has been fighting domestic level opponents but they have given him all he could cope with, Limond, Gomez.

    I dont think that Warren can be blamed for this, he knows that despite all his talk, Khans nowhere near ready to step up to world class level, especially in the lightweight division which is one of the strongest out there.

    Kahn has had 18 fights so far. Both Hatton, and Calzaghe first challenged for their WBO/U belts on their 23rd fight.

    Agreed.

    The competition level has to increase soon though - better to get beat than be embarrassed beating chumps whilst still claming to be ready for a world title shot.
