    Fewkes now states that he is willing to fight Kahn if they improve their purse offer.

    Until he steps up to the plate and actually fights someone rather than duck out at the last minute, no-one will know how good he might be...

    With a young fighter you need to see progress. Choosing Fewkes is kind of like choosing Limond. Good fighter, good fight, but the other guy can't crack an egg (though Fewkey can throw hurtful body shots). I don't see a good learnign curve for Khan. If Khan faces a puncher, said puncher has to be on his last legs (Gomez, Earl). How much can Amir learn doing this?

    yes, it still could happen unless warren manages to dig up some shot old former featherweight champ for the fight
