I have never seen a fight obsess like he does over a retired old fighter, all he wants to do is fight past prime fighters. He has no desire at all to build his own legacy all he wants to do is piggy back off of other ATG's. This guy is a complete joke, he talks more then he fights and when he does fight its never against a top fighter anymore.

Fight Garcia and try to get the WBC..then fight Brook and try to get the WBO..then fight the winner of Thurman-Porter for the WBA then fight Bradley if he still has the WBO..that should be his career path..something is wrong with this guy

Khan does want to build his own legacy, hence why he has been gunning for P4P no.1 and 2, two Top 50 ATGs. Ultimately he's legacy is a good one if he were to retire today.

Better to push for the great fighters and fight guys like Algieri who beat Provodnikov in the meantime (and now chasing Danny Garcia), than be a guy who fights Donut Dan and Kevin Showbiz.

He's certainly not the sharpest spoon. Impressively inarticulate.

Though Khan is doubtless among the worst of the lot, the point you are making can be made about many (most?) of the upper tier of the sport.

    Thanks, Floyd.

Algieri is a good name. He beat Taylor and Provodnikov, and stylistically isn't an easy fight.

Good news is Khan wants to get the Garcia rematch. So he is focussing on not just a champ but someone who I think Khan would do well to win against to avenge his loss.

He has no self belief anymore, there was a time at light welter when he was looking for tough fights but the Petersen debacle followed with Garcia taking his soul left him the joke of a fighter he is now.

Now he's just looking to cherry pick his way until he get some huge payday he seems to think he deserves and then retire.
