No one could teach Amir Khan how to speak, because apparently he already knew.

 

Well i'd guess he's not very academic but many boxers probably aren't. However, i do think he's very unintelligent in general and often has problems stringing sentences together without getting words mixed around. My Fiancee works at a special department in a regular school which is called the "speech and language" department. It's for kids who are less developed in their speech and language skills at a young age and their academic skills are very poor but not enough to be in a complete special education unit. She actually told me when i was watching an interview with him once that the way his speech is has very strong characteristics of the kids she teaches, more so than any other boxer. Other boxers can sound unintelligent and their speech might be slurred but his seems to be a bit different.

He's definitely very unintelligent though, that much is obvious.

I don't think Floyd "rent-a-quote" Mayweather isn't much better. The only thing that makes him appear to be more intelligent is that he's pretty clear in his speech but then again, he has the same handful of stock quotes he uses. Essentially a boxing Parrot.
