I hope he fights JMM next..Too early to fight bradley and unify the 140 division. 2012 is the right time to determine the undisputed 140 king
could be top 20 p4p but i was very dissapointed with his skills yesterday. he did not fight smart like he said he would and it throws into questio his ability to follow a game plan when under pressure.... all the talk of fighting mayweather is 5 or 6 figfht too premature. mayweather can adjust gameplan mid fight...khan cant seem to follow one. i like khan and hope he does become number 1 p4p on day....but he has a long way to go....last night showed that and should be a great eperiance builder for him i believe the only way he was able to stay standing in rd 10 was due to his burning desire of proving the haters wrong. i hope he keeps that with him. true lions heart
He lost plenty rounds against Corley. Also Haye has achieved MUCH more than Khan, and I ****ing hate Haye.
Top 25 for me: 1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Floyd Mayweather Jr. 3. Sergio Martinez 4. Juan Manuel Marquez 5. Wladimir Klitschko 6. Fernando Montiel 7. Nonito Donaire 8. Pongsaklek Wonjongkam 9. Vitali Klitschko 10. Miguel Cotto 11. Timothy Bradley 12. Juan Manuel Lopez 13. Andre Ward 14. Carl Froch 15. Jean Pascal 16. Lucian Bute 17. David Haye 18. Bernard Hopkins 19. Giovani Segura 20. Chris John 21. Chad Dawson 22. Paul Williams 23. Amir Khan 24. Tomasz Adamek 25. Devon Alexander 26. Shane Mosley 27. Hozumi Hasegawa 28. Ivan Calderon 29. Roman Gonzalez 30. Yuriokis Gamboa
Been awhile since I've put together a long list, but my first impression is that top 20 would be fair for him right now.
ward is just one place ahead of froch simply because he beat kessler while froch lost to kessler, but i have no problem with anyone switching their places. outside of top 10, you can also say that boxers in groups of five in my list are on the same level (for example, i have no problem with 11-15 as froch, ward, pascal, bradley, lopez).
serious, what adamek and haye did over the last 2-3 years impressed me more than what khan did and both are around 17-21.
I say yes, but more so due to his skills rather than his accomplishments thus far, if that's allowable.
