Should a formal investigation by the IBF and Interpol be warranted on the Guzman vs Funeka? This is another black eye on boxing and should be cleaned up ASAP. :fire

Speak your mind and vote and hopefully someone out there is reading.

It was a weird decision, why deny Funeka the win and award a draw for a vacant title? With Lewis-Holyfield, Holyfield kept his belts because of the dodgy draw decision but in this case Guzman doesn't even gain anything. I'm inclined to think two judges just saw it differently from everyone else. Even though I thought Funeka won clearly I thought some of the rounds were closer than Max Kellerman and HBO were saying.

Still voted yes there should be an inquiry though because of the outcry post fight and because it would be good to see action taken about dodgy decisions in general.

You don't need to investigate. A 4 year old could've scored that fight correctly. Judges (and promotor) were 100% corrupt. ****ing assholes.

This is exactly when you investigate to clean up the sport of boxing.

Why are you including Interpol in the investigations?

More likely has to do with preserving one fighter's "0"...
