    Anderson was never offered a fight with Jones, and Anderson has said since Machida was champ that he's not interested in fighting at 205 anymore. He said like 18 months ago that he wanted to finish his career at 185.

    Machida isnt Champ anymore so what he said then is irrelevant

    Fact remains - there is one guy out there who is a legit threat to Anderson - and if Anderson refuses fight him cause he "only wants to fight (people who dont stand a chance) at MW" or "JBJ is my friend" what a crock of ****

    He would easily destroy GSP. He would not easily beat Bones. Man up Anderson, truly challenge yourself for the first time in your UFC career, ***git

    Was this in an interview or a press conference or what? When did this happen? This is of course neglecting the fact that people have also "mentioned" Anderson fighting Cain, Fedor, Overeem, Machida, Shogun, and so on and so on. Is he coward because he "baulked" in those instances as well?

    It was a time frame. Machida was champ in 2009, and Anderson has said since then (not long after his fight with Forrest) that he has little interest in going back up to 205 and he wants to finish his career at 185. He said the same thing when Shogun was champ, and he's saying the same thing now Jones is champ.

    So basically he's content to ride out the rest of his career - like Pacquiao - being arguably the best p4p in the world - but refusing to fight anyone with a realistic shot at beating him. Great. :-(
