He's athletically the best, Ward is more skilled though.

Better athlete than technician. His footwork has improved but he's still unbalanced many times per round. Until the last round, he didn't fear Abraham, so he stood in front of him and did well. As soon as he began to fear Abraham, he started to be much less impressive. I think that against Bute, he will not be at his best, because the fight will be tough. Dirrell's game change depending of the adversity.

A very difficult fight for Bute. And a very difficult fight for Dirrell.

Him Ward or Bute fit this category though my ranks at 168 look like this

    Bute
    Ward
    Froch
    Dirrel
    Stieglitz
    Abraham
    Johnson
    Andrade
    Sartison
I leave Kessler out cause he is injured and may be finished but if he fought and won he'd move up

and i think his mental strength left his hand when it comes to Ward....

he lacks a champion's heart.... heart would have gotten him up from an illegal grazing blow and finished the fight to beat AA in a clean UD victory. Froch showed how to finish the job like a man AND a champion

He strikes me as the Zab Judah of the division. High on talent as an athlete (yeah, probably the best athlete of the name 168-pounders), low on what it takes to be a great fighter.

who can possibly blame him for laying down (if he did) against AA, he is smart enough to know that it was a flagrant, illegal foul and that he would win by DQ.
He beat the living **** out of AA and boxed/ran enough from Carl to get that decision, in my book that makes him the most athletic and Skill-Wise best 168lber in the World and until he fights ward or bute, it is so
