Yes, his definitive victories over faded but still useful Kessler
and prime Froch are enough but not 1st ballot HOF. His Dawson
win means nothing and he's done nothing before then or since.
    He's not a HOF'er like Calzaghe is though. Plus, he'd 100% be KO'd
    by KOvalev.

Certainly not. He had a good start with Super 6. Afterwards, all he has done is commenting on HBO that is nothing exceptional to get you in the HOF. He has a long way to go.

I think he will be a HOF it isnt too hard to get into. After the S6 i thought e would move on and become a great fighter but it never happened and never will now the last what three years have been a complete waste and would have been his best years too.
If he goes to lhw u think he beats the pimp but kovalev ko hims

    Correct.

He's a HOF fighter and he's going down as an ATG when it's all said and done.

But how ? for now he won a super 6 tourny , avoided big fights outside of his hometown , declined challanges left and right (Kovalev /Pascal/Stevenson) his entire carrer is a prime of 2 years.....
ATG is really a stretch here.......

Would a win over GGG tip the balance ?

But of course it would! I'd say Ward is right on the cusp at this time, and I'd tend to lean yes as the standards to be inducted into the Hall aren't nearly as strict as say, Cooperstown.

His talent is HOF, but he still needs more. Its ashame in this day and age fighters only fight for the money, but the blame lies on the ABC orgs and how they do business. Ward COULD be great, but at this point his talent is the only thing we can judge him on.

Yes, he is a HOFer but now lets see if he could reach the ATG status. Having wins over GGG and Kovalev would go a LONG way in cementing his legacy as an ATG.

Beating Lacy and Kessler is a deep all-time great history?.

An ACTIVE fighter got in to the HOF because he is popular. LOL. You should probably not comment on boxing....... Ever again.

HOF is about fame, not resume or skill. Like some mentioned, Gatti got in. Is he an ATG? No.

However, he was very famous and many people wanted to watch him.

Ward isnt famous like that, he is just a guy with a couple top shelf wins in Kessler and Froch. And no, before anyone goes there GGG isnt HOF material either.

The only 4 active and relevant guys I would say are legit HOF material at the moment are Manny, Floyd, Wlad and maybe Cotto.

He has the talent for sure, but 2, maybe 3 really good wins ain't quite enough for me.

I'd like to see him at the very least show dominance over some of the current young guns at SMW (such as they are), DeGale, Groves, Zurdo, Mundo ... all of whom I think he handles fairly easily.

Ideally of course I'd like to see what he can do in the deeper waters at 175 but this prolly isn't necessary for a HOF place as long as he can re-establish and maintain dominance at 168.

As of now no, but let's say he moves up and cleans up the LHW division, than yeah he would be.

Is he an ATG, No. But he was a 2 time Champion 2 time fight of the year receipient and fought the likes of Ivan Robinson, Micky Ward, ODLH, Jesse James Leija, Teron Millett, Gabriel Ruelas. Gatti was not entered into the HOF for his popularity
