Athletes are the most focused, and train the hardest when there is pressure to perform. An upcoming match or game is what drives athletes to give everything they have in the gym. Without the pressure of an upcoming fight for over a year, what does Ward have that is pressuring him to stay sharp or improve? Uncertainty is no motivator, you don't run an extra mile because of uncertainty. I have a hunch that Andre is a smart man, one that doesn't want brain damage, and one that looks at other opportunities. Perhaps he thinks fighting hasn't served him fairly and he is looking to be an actor or commentator. Maybe he sees a niche for an honest promoter...
what makes you think Ward would be an honest promotor, hardly an honest fighter with all the headbutting and clinching
I hope so! That whole son of god thing was bs! He's a dirty fighter with a boring style. He would have been the next bhop.:tired
