Is Andre Ward hiding more than just a Glass?

I'm not sure what his deal is, big money fights are at 175, but he would no longer be able to dictate term at least immediately after the move. I'm sure he has his own reasons, and i'm not necessarily saying he is up to something. I'd imagine he would want to go up and try to clear out 175 like he did 168. But, if he is comfortable where he is at, nobody can tell him what he should do, maybe he is waiting on a Kovalev, stevenson fight to happen then try to get a big money fight with one of them.

Besides a guy who can't draw flies to **** as is said somehow has enough money to keep judges, refs and whoever else on his payroll? Brilliant!! Ward thinks there's an invisible man in the sky that leads him in the valley of headbutts and comforts him in clinches. surely it doesn't get much dumber than that.

I think Ward at this point feels like he deserves some nice payday fights. 175 doesn't offer him much on those lines as things stand, while also offering big risks in Stevenson and Kovalev. If Stevenson vs Kovalev comes off, the winner of that fight might be established enough for that purpose. He's also had some problems with his promoter which probably hasn't helped matters. As to Ward's chin, I don't think it's iron but it's not glass either, and he's so hard to hit with a full-blooded punch that it's a moot point anyway.

If he wants to keep fighting at 168, I can't hate on that, I don't really call fighters who want to stay in their own division as duckjobs or something.

He should fight Groves next I feel though, for me that's the only interesting fight left for him at 168.

 

Not for nothing, but ragging on someone because they express bigoted behavior and then in the same breath calling said person a '***' is somewhat hypocritical.

I don't think Ward is hiding anything, doesn't really make sense that someone with such limited drawing power would be protected and hyped by crooked commissions, refs and judges.
